Recently, elements of Catterick Garrison based 1st Battalion were activated as part of the Strategic Reserve Force for NATO, to support PWRR – The Tigers in #Kosovo on Op ELGIN. Lead elements from #1RYORKS have deployed after a busy few days of preparation, ensuring the team and vehicles are ready for this important deployment. Alma Company are leading the deployment of nearly 80 personnel and providing 23 Foxhound crews to integrate with 1 PWRR dismounts to create a Light Mechanised Infantry Company group, able to be tasked at pace, in any number of roles. #1RYORKS currently have personnel deployed in Iraq, Cyprus, Kenya, and Kosovo.
