The 1st Battalion, The Royal Yorkshire Regiment, will form the prestigious Guard of Honour for VIP guests and Salute Takers at this year’s Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of this incredible event, with the British Army taking on the prestigious role of lead service. This puts them front and center on a global stage, just as they were in 1950.

The Tattoo features world-class performances from British Army Bands and an array of international acts, including the Band of the Polish Border Guard, Top Secret Drum Corps, and the United States Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps.

We’re proud to see our troops playing such a vital role in this iconic celebration of military tradition.
