THE royal YORKSHIRE REGIMENT

Ex-Forces Career Information

Transitioning from military to civilian life can be a challenging journey, but the opportunities for ex-forces personnel in Yorkshire are abundant. We’re committed to making our website a central hub for these opportunities, and we’re starting by highlighting a few of our partners who are actively recruiting from the armed forces community.

Wills Marquees

Wills Marquees, a family company with operations in York, Lincoln, and Edinburgh, guarantees interviews for ex-servicemen and women. They have current vacancies for

Team Leaders, Team Leader Designates/Second in Command, and Marquee Riggers. You don’t need any prior experience, as full training is provided for all roles. The work involves both marquee rigging and making. The skills needed for rigging will be familiar to those with a military background.
