Regimental Veterans Participate in Ride to the Wall

The Regimental family was prominently represented at the annual Ride to the Wall (RTTW) motorcycling event. A dedicated group of Royal Yorkshire Regiment Soldiers and Veterans took part in the mass ride to the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) in Staffordshire on Saturday.

The RTTW is a unique pilgrimage and service of remembrance where thousands of bikers gather to pay tribute to the 16,000+ service men and women whose names are engraved on the Armed Forces Memorial (“The Wall”). The event is a powerful demonstration of solidarity, remembrance, and the unwavering commitment to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice since the end of the Second World War.

This initiative highlights the deep and enduring bond between the Regiment’s serving personnel and its veteran community, ensuring that every generation of the Royal Yorkshire Regiment family carries forward the memory and legacy of those who have fallen. The event also raises vital funds for the upkeep of the NMA, having raised almost £2 million since its inception.
